This is the second call for enrolment for Modern Arabic Calligraphy for Beginners by Ilya Hagi of Caligras. This course consists of 2 modules with 2 lessons each (total of 4 lessons).

Students are encourage to attend all 4 classes to benefit from the introductory course.

3 Feb: Appreciate and learn about the uniqueness of Arabic Calligraphy

10 Feb: Execute proportionate strokes of each letter in the ‘Hijaiyah’ Alphabet and join letters

17 Feb: Form words and phrases in Arabic Calligraphy

24 Feb: Add ‘tashkil’ and ‘harakat’ to Arabic calligraphy words and phrases

- Refresher

- Introduction and Use of ‘tashkil’ and ‘harakat’ in Arabic

- Adding of optional shapes and ‘decorations’

- Why Modern Calligraphy Art?
